The Canterbury Marlborough Westland and Otago Branch of the NZTBA covers a large area of the South Island of New Zealand and has been the breeding ground of many top horses over the years; Phar Lap, Baghdad Note, Grey Way, Master O'Reilly, Final Touch, Natuzzi, Ugo Foscolo, Aide Memoire just to name a few.
